Immersion retreat for women!

We invite you to a training diffused by self love, through yogic practices combined with theory from western medicine.

✨ A Gift to Yourself – A Deep Dive into Your Feminine Wisdom

This yoga immersion is more than a training—it’s an invitation to return home to yourself.

In a safe, supportive circle of sisterhood, embraced by nature, the sea, and the feminine, you’re invited to explore the world of yoga through a cyclical, feminine lens.

This retreat is for women who long for renewal, depth, and a deeper understanding of the body and mind. It’s for those who wish to reconnect with their own rhythm, and listen to the whispers of the nervous system. And not the least – to tap into the ancient wisdom that lives within the womb.

Whether you’re a yoga teacher, a curious practitioner, or simply seeking something more in life—you are warmly welcome. This immersion is designed to meet women at all stages of life, offering a space to belong, to rest, to grow, and to flourish.

🌸 A journey inward — nourishment, knowledge, sisterhood, and time to remember who you’ve always been.

🌙 A powerful reminder — your body is sacred, your cyclical nature is a strength, and the answers lie within you. But also – what does science say? What about hormones and different stages of a womans hormonal life.

🌺 A space to pause and reflect—with yoga as your guide, return to yourself. We will offer practices both physical yoga, pranayama and asana but also more subtle but very powerful practices through rituals, journaling, meditation and much more.

Welcome to a Transformative Yoga Immersion

Join us for a deepening yoga immersion designed for women—a sacred journey in a safe and supportive space where you’re invited to explore the wisdom of yoga through the lens of the feminine cycle.

Together, in a held group of like-hearted women, we’ll dive into both practice and theory, exploring how yoga can support our cyclical nature. We’ll journey through the concept of Shakti—the feminine energy—along with the symbolism of yogic goddesses, acupressure techniques for balance, nervous system regulation, sharing circles, and methods from Embodied Flow. We’ll also explore alignment principles and practices to support hormonal harmony.

Our foundation will be rooted in daily yoga practice, pranayama, and meditation—offering a grounded space to reconnect with yourself on every level.

The immersion takes place at Usha’s Wellness Center in the heart of Los Cristianos, Tenerife—a nourishing health retreat center on the beautiful Spanish island.

We’ll gather for 6–7 hours each day, leaving you plenty of free time to relax, enjoy delicious food, swim in the ocean, hike the local trails, or simply rest. Our intention is for you to feel deeply held—safe to unwind, slow down, and gift yourself the presence of simply being.

Los Cristianos

We’ve chosen the sun-drenched town of Los Cristianos in Tenerife—a place filled with light, warmth, and healing energy. Here, the gentle rhythm of the ocean meets the stillness of the mountains, creating an ideal setting to deepen your yoga practice, rest, and reconnect with your inner strength.

It’s a place to let go, drop into your heart—and simply be.

Los Cristianos offers magical sunrises, refreshing ocean swims, stunning natural beauty, and the perfect balance between vibrant town life and peaceful retreats.

We’ve lived here, walked the trails, and practiced yoga by the sea—we know this place holds something truly special.

Our yoga shala is nestled in the village, just a short walk from the ocean. You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy massages and other holistic treatments. Los Cristianos is a welcoming village where locals and visitors come together. With its delicious restaurants and inviting beach promenade, it’s a place to savor life, soak in the sun, and just be present.

This retreat is for you!

This retreat is for anyone and everyone—whether you’re just beginning your yoga journey or have been practicing for years. We warmly welcome all experience levels and are skilled in holding space for diverse groups where each person feels seen, supported, and uplifted.

If you’re new to yoga, we recommend exploring a few classes before you arrive—either at a local studio or online. (Upon registration, you’ll receive a 30-day free access code to Yogobe to help you get started.)

Wherever you are on your path, you are invited. Step into this sacred space with us to reconnect with yourself and rediscover the deep joy of simply being.

Passionate About Women’s Health and Empowerment

With a deep passion for women’s health—both as a midwife and a yoga teacher—I am dedicated to supporting women through every phase of life. Each chapter of a woman’s journey invites us to explore what it truly means to embody the feminine in the world we live in today.

While it’s heartening to witness the progress being made globally in women’s issues and scientific research, there are still many places where women’s rights are being challenged or even reversed. This duality fuels my commitment to creating spaces like this retreat—where we can come together, uplift one another, and courageously engage with the questions that matter to us as a collective.

I teach intuitively, with a foundation in flowing Hatha yoga, complemented by the calm, inward practices of MediYoga and Yin yoga. My classes are playfully physical, weaving technique with embodied exploration, always grounded in breath and presence. I draw inspiration from Anusara Yoga and Embodied Flow, inviting students to connect deeply with themselves.

I’ve been practicing yoga for 28 years and hold a range of teacher certifications. My path is one of continuous study and curiosity—drawing from many traditions and perspectives. My studies in Vedanta provide a steady foundation that nurtures both heart and soul.

In my professional life as a midwife, I meet women in some of life’s most vulnerable and powerful moments. In addition, I hold various massage certifications and have completed 20 academic points in acupuncture training from the Karolinska Institute, with a specialization in acupuncture for women’s health.

Together with my colleague Anna, I co-founded Yatra, and we’ve been leading yoga retreats around the world for over a decade. In 2025–2026, I will be living in Tenerife with my family, continuing this work in a new setting.

“The world of yoga is vast and multi-layered. In my teaching, I strive to offer both physically strengthening and healing asana practices, as well as techniques for cultivating deep inner calm and presence. My heartfelt wish is that you feel safe to fully relax, be yourself, and through the flow of yoga, experience a profound sense of self-acceptance and connection—to your body, your breath, and your whole being. May this practice extend beyond the mat into daily life, inviting you to meet each moment with an open heart, and to embrace the full spectrum of who you are with reverence and compassion.”

Jenny Viktorsson

My teaching is deeply rooted in the feminine—in Shakti

I am a yoga teacher, therapist, and coach with nearly 20 years of experience in yoga, meditation, and self-healing practices.
With a warm and intuitive approach, I love guiding women back to the wisdom of the body, the truth of the heart, and the longing of the soul.

My teaching is deeply rooted in the feminine—in Shakti, in the rhythms of nature, the elements, and the ever-changing flow of life. I draw inspiration from Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, MediYoga, Kundalini, and dance, weaving together movement and stillness, power and rest in every class.

I am passionate about creating safe, healing spaces where women can land, grow, and remember the deep primal force they carry within. To witness others reconnect with their cyclical nature, inner strength, and unique path is my soul’s calling.

After many years of teaching and running a yoga studio in Sweden—as well as spending time abroad—I have now returned home, renewed and inspired. I look forward to continuing to share Shakti Flow through classes, workshops, and retreats across Sweden.

“It is my heartfelt wish that through the healing presence of yoga, you are able to sink deeper into yourself—
that in the stillness of the breath and the wisdom of movement, you remember who you are beneath all the layers,
that you reconnect with your essence—the one you’ve always been.

May you return to your inner wisdom, your primal power,
to love, to soulful acceptance, and to the peace that gently whispers:
Everything you seek already lives within you.
All that you long to become—you already are.

You are whole. You are light. You are Shakti.”
